Restaurant Manager

The Thomas Hooker Brewing Company at Colt seeks an experienced manager for our location in Hartford, CT. The manager will be responsible for overseeing all bar operations, supervising food quality, and maintaining procedures. We are looking for detail-oriented candidates who have strong communication, strong social skills, and team building abilities.


  • Ensure efficient operations
  • Hire, train, and coach employees for both FOH and BOH
  • Manage costs
  • Cash Handling and Reporting
  • Maintain high quality and service standards
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures
  • Monitor food quality and health standards


  • Minimum three years’ experience managing mid-sized restaurant/bar
  • Evening and weekend availability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Knowledge of common food safety practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
